
Mazalmendra was founded in 1965 by Olallo Fernández . Our factory is situated in Malagón, a small village that belongs to Ciudad Real Province, adjoining Toledo Province, this Province is well-kwon by its tradition in productions of Marzipan and Nougat.
At the beginning Olallo founded and managed an Obrador Pastry that produced Marzipan and Nougat.
The selling of the products were increasing quickly, why it was necessary to build a small artisan Factory, with an average production of one thousand Kg. perday, and about ten workers. But the increase of the production related directly to the high quality of the products, produced a new growth of the factory. Currently we account with six thousands m2, modern facilities and a professionals team highly qualified.
In 2002 the Quality Insurance System ISO 9001/2000 was introduced.
Step by step our references were improving, including in our portfolio, apart from the traditional nougats and marzipan lines, three new lines of productions: Dietetics products (upset by diabetic people), specified products for ice-cream sellers and specified products for Cakes manufacturers: Sponge Cake (mould, griddle and died), Almond Granite, Almond Crokanti, Liquid Nouget and Liquid Caramel…
